YUMA TERRITORY LIVE STEAMERS 2017 FALL MEET

DECEMBER 1,2 & 3

The YTLS Fall Meet will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the first weekend in December.  We have a motorized travel-lift to assist with equipment load and off-load.

A pizza feed on Friday evening and pulled-pork dinner with beans and slaw on Saturday evening are available at a nominal charge.  There is limited RV parking, but no services.

You're invited to come and view the activity, run your trains at our expanding facility in Yuma, AZ at Riverside Park off Giss Parkway on Prison Hill Road or just enjoy the railroad fellowship.

We hope you will be able to come.

For information contact the Meet Chairman, Leonard Houpt, at (530)-908-9732 or email to mary_n_len@hotmail.com or Livesteamersofyuma@yahoo.com.

Please RSVP so we can have an idea of how many people will be coming. Is there anything special that we need to support your equipment? And are you going to partake with the pizza on Friday and/or pull pork dinner on Saturday. Food will begin at 5 pm both days.

Thanks

The Yuma Territory Live Steamers is a 1/8 scale railroad club. We now have 3000 feet of track in Riverside Park and plan to expand to about 7000 feet.

Our opening public ride events for our 2017/2018 season are October 14 & 15, 2017. Public rides will be held on the 2nd and 4th weekends of each month. They are on both Saturday and Sunday between 10 am and 3 pm. This schedule will continue through May 2018.

If you would like to visit or are interested in our organization, then please contact us. There is also a membership form if you would like to join.

The purpose of this organization is to educate the public about the lore and history of American steam railroading with 1/8 scale, fully functioning, steam engine, vintage diesel and cars. The railroad is intended for both children and adults alike to ride on and enjoy.

We meet the first Wednesday at 5:00 PM at the Foothills Library, 13226 E. South Frontage Road, Yuma, AZ 85367.
